Fountain pen Pen of the Year 2020 Black Edition, Broad

ペン・オブ・ザ・イヤー2020は、ギリシアの都市国家スパルタの英雄たちとその国王レオニダスからインスピレーションを受けて製作されました。スパルタ人の規律と不敗神話は伝説的であり、それは子供の頃からの厳しいスパルタ教育を通して培われたものです。 スパルタの兵士が身に着けていた甲冑や短刀を作る際にも用いられた金属加工技術へのオマージュとして、ペンの胴軸にはダイヤモンドの原石が職人の手ではめ込まれています。切削加工されたマットなグリップゾーンは兵士の胸甲を連想させるデザイン。胴軸の切削模様などのディテー ルは、体型に正確に作られたスパルタ兵の戦闘服に施されていたアルカイック模様を思い起こさせます。キャップのスプリング内蔵式クリップは、ギリシアの兜の形状に着想を得たデザイン。
